Glen Davis was the principal carer for his wife Carole. He retired in 2010 to care for her, and in 2015 she was admitted to a nursing home. Carole died in 2019.
Glen helps other people who are carers for people with frontotemporal dementia. That is an uncommon type of dementia that causes problems, particularly with behaviour and language.
This is the second time for me hosting contributions from other writers on my website and we’d welcome feedback.
The two documents that you can download here are;
- Tips for Tips For Communicating, in particular, frontotemporal dementia
- ”Managing The Rage Stage", which, perhaps because it is relatively rare, is hard to understand or to get advice on.
Please forward these documents to others who might find them helpful, and let us have comments for Glen.
